Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

New Date

We are at Hemel Snow centre on the Oct 20th 2012 from 3pm to 8pm with the guys from Inside Out Skiing.

If you fancy trying some of next seasons all mountain and wider skis from Movement and Whitedot then you can sign up here
http://www.insideoutskiing.com/sales/index.php?route=product/shoppica&c_path=75&man_id=19

This should be the range of skis we have with us, if we can fit more in we will especially the more piste orientated skis from Movement.

I know what you mean, its a common question, however after skiing fat skis in the domes for a few years now, it is possible to get a really good idea of how they handle on the mountain, after all some fat skis even at 125 underfoot have a tiny carve radius

Yep, I believe so.

I would definitely go if I was around on that Saturday. There is great fun to be had with 5 hours of slope time and (hopefully) lots of snowheads to ski with.

Elston, shame you can not make it promises to be fun.

All being well we should have some piste skis from Movement as well and hopefully my lad will be there as well to give me a hand

Might try to make this as I've got a day pass to use at some point soon. Can't guarantee any flyswatter slalom this time.

I will be in the area that weekend...so may be in the snow too Smile
I was wanting to try some Fischer RC4 SL Worldcup or whatever they are called, but I don't think the shop has much demo kit over the summer.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

lampbus, I had a marketing e-mail through from the Snow Centre yesterday which seemed to be saying that S&R will have some additional demo stuff available that weekend too so you might be in luck.

Unfortunately we have had to move the Inside Out Ski Club event, including test skis from Snow Shepherd, to 20 October. Will confirm details shortly when I get confirmation of a couple of points.
