Ok, but needed effort to turn due to length and wide waist. Actually shorter rocker due to tip and tail rise but still struggling to turn with ease as compared to a shorter ski | 9 |

The Altum 94 utilises a versatile 94mm waist, an all-encompassing and progressive tip and tail rocker profile and 4mm of camber underfoot. This ski focused on grip and pop over the mountain without compromising on shallow snow ability. Coupled with a progressive, forward mount point all you need to do is point and direct these skis at those natural features you’ve been eyeing up on the lift.
Focusing on resort friendly characteristics coupled with all-mountain ability, the new Altum Series is designed to be your playful daily driver in areas where the snowfall is less fortunate

Whitedot Say...
Skiing off-piste you are rarely carving a perfect turn, instead you use drifting, speed checking, carving and combinations of these to control your line.
The ASYM’s signature design is off-set taper, making a left and right foot specific ski. While the sidecut radius remains a constant 30m on both edges, the tip and tail of the outside edge tapers earlier than the inside creating an inside ski with a shorter effective edge that is easier to control.
This balances the different forces working on each ski as you go through the turn, making for an intuitive and two footed ride.
The ASYM is built for deep days on the mountain and to deal with the changeable conditions you face. We selected our Traditional fibre-glass construction for this new ski because not only is it our dampest construction but it also adds mass to the ski, making for astable and confidence-inspiring ride all over the mountain.

The Ronde 110 takes the experience from our original multiple Freeride World Tour winning skis and advances it to the next level.
The 110 is an accessible and exciting ride for your resort based powder adventure. We have coupled the low-rise rocker with a healthy camber profile to give stability and grip on harder terrain and maneuverability and float in the softer snow.
Keeping a 21m turn radius with a tapered shape makes for a stable ride that will not let you down on the piste.

Incorporating a balanced sidecut, traditional camber underfoot with a subtle rocker and resort friendly 19m turn radius.
The Ronde 96 will inject a huge dose of fun into your piste runs due to an abundance of edge grip and stability afforded by the camber underfoot. It is versatile for the snowfalls and for when you need a single option to ride the powder in the morning and the bumps in the afternoon.
Powerful and smooth, this is the one ski you will not want to put down at the end of the day.

I hadn't intended to try this - I was looking to try much narrower skis. I was talked in to trying these while waiting - very glad I was. I tried a number of narrower skis and nothing was anywhere near as much fun (or as responsive).
Relative centre mount and that I'm tall and heavy meant I was initially concerned there wasn't much ski in front of my toes. That concern disappeared on the first run.
I did several more laps with a big smile on my face. | 9 |

These skis were a bit too wide for my liking, I felt the leverege from the width which reduced my enjoyment on the indoor slope. Now if we had an indoor powder slope I may have a different opinion...... | 8 |

Surprise was how easy they were to ski on at Hemel. Would like to test at Tignes tho. Despite that possibly not for me because of the risk of extra strain on ancient knees on the hard stuff which I definitely noticed. | 11 |

Utilising our new twin rocker profile the Altum 114 is designed to bring a new level of flexibility to the mountain, with the 114mm waist you can easily release the tail at the end of the turn giving you an intuitive and adaptable feel to a ?big? ski.
Our signature tip and tail taper pushes more width into the forefront of the ski, this allows for a forward mounting position making turn initiation easier without sacrificing float and balance in the deep snow. A resort friendly 2mm of camber and hard carving sidecut provides a stable and agile platform to give you an adaptable ski for all over the mountain and side country adventures.

The Altum 94 utilises a versatile 94mm waist, an all-encompassing and progressive tip and tail rocker profile and 4mm of camber underfoot. This ski focused on grip and pop over the mountain without compromising on shallow snow ability. Coupled with a progressive, forward mount point all you need to do is point and direct these skis at those natural features you?ve been eyeing up on the lift.
Focusing on resort friendly characteristics coupled with all-mountain ability, the new Altum Series is designed to be your playful daily driver in areas where the snowfall is less fortunate

A powerful and secure ski with a lively yet smooth ride. Built to be light on the way up and strong on the way down, the new R.98 is our all-access free-touring model with freeride at its core. The R.98 takes a lot of its design features from its bigger brother including minimal camber and tip rocker for ease of turning, a medium flex pattern and a longer turn radius for stability in the changeable backcountry snow conditions. The revised, lighter weight aluminium tail allows the ski to be cut deep into the snowpack to create a solid anchor point as well being a secure skin attachment.

Skiing off-piste you are rarely carving a perfect turn, instead you use drifting, speed checking, carving and combinations of these to control your line.
The ASYM?s signature design is off-set taper, making a left and right foot specific ski.

Tricky on hard snow (especially in the relatively tight confines of the chill factore). On softer snow it was amazing! Turn engagement was weirdly easy and once engaged was secure and predictable. The ski also handled contrasting terrain quite well (bumps, varying snow types, etc). | 2 |

The introduction of the Carbonlite construction to the Director only accentuates its characterful and versatile nature. The weight-saving is largely noticeable under foot which then translates to quick turns through the trees, easier boot packs to remote sidecountry, and a more balanced and even feel in the air. Versatility redefined.

The One is designed as an all-mountain ski that works equally well all over the mountain as it does in the snow park. A popular ski in half pipe contests around the globe, the ample side cut and torsional rigidity grips the wall whilst the Carbon Kevlar reinforcement give you the durability and pop to ride any feature that you choose, knowing that you are stable at speed.

This was the second time that I tried the Whitedot One ski's. On the first occasion I had less than 4 weeks experience on snow and used them for two days at the EoSB with conditions varying from ice to slush. I tried them again a year later with two more weeks of experience under my belt. I loved them and managed to use them for the whole day after my test
. They did chatter a bit in ice to firm conditions but I assume that this is a small price to pay for lightness. |

Our all-mountain, single quiver, cambered, ski. The Preacher has won independent ski tests, Freeride World Tour podiums and professional athlete accolades. The Preacher offers a lot of floatation in deep powder yet the positive camber and full length torsional stiffness allows for an incredible edge hold on even the hardest pistes.? A 155mm wide tip allows for ease of turn initiation, and the tip is tapered to avoid hooking in soft snow.

absolutely incredible ski. carved this ski at high speeds on bumpy pistes and felt very secure, then took it off piste and got very decent performance there too. the camber, whilst no doubt being what gives it that on piste security, does prevent it turning on the spot as well as their flatter powder skis, though. | 9 |

I reviewed this ski at the EOSB and thought I'd give it another bash to see if I still felt the same. In short - yes I do. This is still an incredible ski which corners like a piste ski despite being powder ski width. As I discovered in VT it does well in the powder, and even as a fairly long ski (I'll use a 177 indoors normally - these were a 189) and wide under foot, they turn just as easily as the narrower piste skis of the day. I would definitely say they're definitely the best, if not the only 'truly' all-round skis I've ever skied. | 9 |

Usually my favourite ski at the test. Still love the Preacher, it moves like nothing I have ever tried at the same length and waist. Very easy to turn as long as you've got plenty of weight to push it into it. Not for the faint hearted though, it might take you for a ski rather than the other way around. |

Our unique Carbon layup brings added weight-saving and durability to the Preacher and combines it with a shape that continues to give large amount of float in the fresh snow. The positive camber and increased torsional stiffness from the Carbonlite construction brings an increase in edge hold on hard packed snow, decreasing fatigue and allowing you to ski for longer and harder.

Whitedot Say...
The R.108 is Whitedot’s most versatile all-mountain ski. It is the ideal choice for groomed trails, side and backcountry terrain. We designed this ski to be both great for longer radius turns on groomed pistes whilst being able to conquer steep ground without sacrificing the powder performance on the descent. The performance profile allows for efficient ski touring and aids steep ascents; the skin clip tail feature gives assured skin placement security all the way to the summit.

A great ski - just a bit too heavy for me. Requires a strong skier, I'm just a girl :) I could get it switched on, and it was great - but took a bit too much effort for me personally to drive it into it's zone. |

The R.108 is Whitedot’s most versatile all-access ski. The Carbonlite version offers incredible weight-saving along with a slightly softer flex pattern to make your ascent easier. Combine this with the in-built pop that Carbon brings yet smoothed out with our addition of Flax. The ski retains the fluidity and edge control of the original R.108. The R.108 Carbonlite is a fantastic companion on day-long ski tours or remote access alpinism.

The revised, lighter weight aluminium tail allows the ski to be cut deep into the snowpack to create a solid anchor point as well being a secure skin attachment.

manoeuvrablemanoeuvrableI was keen to try these looking for a good off piste multi-day touring ski and an alternative to my Whitedot Preachers on mixed / icy conditions. I hadn't skied such a long radius before which helps on icy traverses and steep chutes. I was pleasantly surprised by how precise manouverable and nippy they were despite this, with short, medium and long turns, also enough camber to enjoy the lively feeling of unweighting on the bumpy snow on the sides. I'll buy a pair - I didn't get the chance to try the CL version but will probably stick with the trad to save money and as an incentive to slim down a little.

Despite my love of the Preacher, this might have been my top ski of the day. Very easy to control both playing in the soft stuff at the side of the piste and on the harder snow. Feels very light and easy to work. Reasonably stiff (stiffer than say, Directors). Would love to try in deeper snow but very impressed for the time being. | 9 |

Maintaining the performance and stability of the traditional R.98, the Carbonlite brings fluidity and incredible weight saving to the model. During longer, technical ascents the R.98 Carbonlite is the ideal partner in aiding efficient energy release and minimal fatigue. Our Carbonlite construction remains one of the lightest and most powerful options on the market, when paired with the R.98 it creates a ski that is an ideal for touring without sacrificing the performance and stability during the descent.

Boring clunky plank-like feeling. This may have been partly because these were a bit long for me so heavier and harder to turn than I'm used to, and not responsive enough to my light weight. Plus they are a bit more of a piste ski compared to others I tried, so not my kind of thing, but they may be to you. Skis don't have to be pretty, but these are ugly as f*** ;-) | 7 |

Versatility defined. The Director brings a rocker profile, flex pattern and shape to fulfil the requirement for a playful ski. The Director works equally well in the backcountry as it does across the wide spectrum of conditions on the frontside of the mountain. An increased effective edge adds to the hard snow performance, whilst the latest rocker profile from Whitedot helps the ski float and turn in the toughest of conditions.

Lovely playful skis, felt like they were skiing themselves, so light that I didn't seem to have to do anything much. It was necessary to ski accurately on a crowded, chopped-up Hemel slope and that was no problem at all. Real fun. I'd like to test different lengths and also the carbon version on a mountain before buying, though. | N/A |

I was extremely impressed by the performance of these on the hardpack at 9am. The ride is so solid, you never feel like they are about to chuck you off and hand out a beating, and they are very lightweight too. They are even better on softer snow, but I tested them for a full day and never felt like I had the wrong skis on. They do ski a bit short, so I'm looking at the 171cm. | N/A |

I'm sorry I can only give this 5, its not a type of ski I would normally ski on so I find it uncomfortable. I wanted to try these type of "Fat Boys" as I hadn't tried anything like that since Volkl Explosive back in 1996. Many skiers seem to find this type ski a good compromise for on piste as well. But for me it wasn't. If it was a rare deep champagne powder day it may have been different. But this was a trial in late afternoon slushy conditions, and I found that carver shaped skis seemed to work better for me.

Oh how I wish my knees could handle the width of these skis and I was fit enough to be skiing offpiste. Tried them at the end of the day in the slush, did not get to try them offpiste but will not be skiing offpiste for sometime till I have increased my fitness a lot. I really want to like them and I do I see the potential but for now they will remain a target to aim for and one of the best reasons to improve my ski fitness.
I can not award higher than 7 even though they are probably way above a 7 because I just can not yet get to test them properly. So please take account of my limitations with health when you look at my score for them. | 9 |

I love these and have really already made up my mind about getting a pair, so this test was to compare the length of the 181 against the 171. I'm only 5'4", so decided they were too long, but otherwise a great ski, really fun in soft snow and I recommend everyone to give them a go! | 9 |

The One is designed as an all-mountain freestyle ski that works equally well all over the mountain. A popular ski in half pipe contests around the globe, the ample side cut and torsional rigidity grips the wall whilst the Carbon Kevlar reinforcement give you the durability and pop to ride any feature that you choose, knowing that you are stable at speed.

I took these skis out for a spin at the end of the season in Val Thoren. So as you can imagine it was very slushy and heavy snow. The boards handled it pretty well. They are quite a lively ski and easy to turn and were not bad on the piste for this type of ski. So I think they were the ideal choice for these conditions. I used them off piste, but this was not the sort of off piste that we dream about. ... This was the heavy wet stuff that makes you work hard. But these were ideal.

This ski shares the same platform and design features of our competition freestyle ski the One, but it has a more park focused construction. Keeping the same level of construction, with traditional camber and carbon kevlar stringers for pop, a poplar/ash core paired with 360° wrap edges and die-cut ISO 7200 base for longevity, the new Park. One will help take you to the next level. A softer, symmetrical flex pattern optimised for switch riding and natural balance on any feature you ride adds to the versatility of this already popular model.

The Preacher offers a lot of floatation in deep powder yet the positive camber and full length torsional stiffness allows for an incredible edge hold on even the hardest of pistes. Designed with a 155mm wide tip to allow for a weight forward stance for ease of turn initiation, and a tapered tip to avoid hooking in the soft stuff.

I tried these indoors at Chill Factore and then on the mountain at the EoSB16. They are quite stiff so took a bit of getting used to. On piste, on anything other than firm hard pack they were absolutely great, leaving me wondering if I'd made the right decision getting the Directors, but when I hit the hard pack, I found it difficult to maintain grip and ended up skidding them very carefully back to base! | 8 |

Whitedot Say...
Our unique carbon layup brings added weight-saving and durability into the mix and combined with it’s shape continues to give large amount of float in the fresh. The positive camber and increased torsional stiffness from the CL:3 construction brings an increase in edge hold on hard packed snow, decreasing fatigue and allowing you to ski for longer and harder.

felt lovely - noticeably lighter than the non Carbon version, and not quite as carvy as the Director. On a good day, can imagine it would be awesome, but still ok on the piste. | 7 |

Far too wide for the conditions! Would probably be great in powder but it was such a nightmare on the packed snow and ice that I gave up after one run. Definitely not a piste ski. | 9 |

Magnificent. A word of warning though: these required a more advanced level of skiing than the normal Preachers to extract the best out of them, think hot hatchs->super cars. Everything happens faster: the edge changes, the acceleration, the speed, with much crisper feedback from the skis but not in a muscular kind-of-way, its rather the reaction times, the precision and the commitment that must go up notch. So a magnificent ski, for advanced skiers preferably. | 4 |

lostI was looking forward to trying these as a touring/long radius skis as an alternative to my Preachers. The R.108s were good fun but for me they had too much in common with the Preachers but a little less responsive. Of course it is a bit meaningless to compare fat skis in this way on an indoor slope and the preference is probably more due to preference and skiing style. For me and my needs the R.98 was a lot more versatile

Whitedot Say...
The R.108 is Whitedot’s most versatile all-mountain ski. The CarbonLite CL:3 version of this ski continues to provide all of the benefits and features of the traditional R.108 yet offers incredibly weight-saving along with a slightly softer flex to make your journey up the mountain easier. Combined with the inbuilt pop that carbon brings, but smoothed out with our flax mixture, the ski retains the fluidity and edge control of the original. The Ranger CL:3 is a fantastic companion on day ski tours or remote access Alpinism.

I was told to keep on the softer stuff. On the piste they felt very short and you had to concentrate. Once on the soft slush (it was late afternoon) they came into their own. Very very forgiving and turn on the spot. They effortlessly float over the slush (im guessing powder too). | 5 |

Built to be light on the way up and strong on the way down, the new R.98 is our all-conditions free-touring model with freeride at its core.
The R.98 takes a lot of its design features from its bigger brother including minimal camber and tip rocker for ease of turning, a medium flex pattern and a longer turn radius for stability in the changeable backcountry snow conditions. The revised and lighter weight aluminium tail allows the ski to be cut deep into the snowpack without fear of damage, to create a solid anchor point as well as a secure skin attachment.

4thski of the session. I had never tried powder skis before, so that is why the score is so low, and chillfactore is obviously not the place for off piste fun. I will look forward to trying a pair in the Alps/ | 10 |

Whitedot Say...
The ultimate all-mountain fat ski that gives massive amounts of float in the fresh, though the positive camber and full length torsional stiffness allows for an incredible edge hold on even the hardest of pistes. Designed with a 155 wide tip allowing for a weight forward stance for ease of turn initiation and contact point forward tapered tip to avoid hooking in the soft stuff. From tree runs to the biggest back bowls to the last piste home, these skis will put a grin on your face!

Blanched at the price and left the test pining. A couple of months later, bought a pair from Spyderjon. Used them for a couple of weeks in the second half of the season and it was a great honeymoon! Can't recommend them enough. | 7 |

If I applied rule5, these are the skis I'd be on this season. Fast, sure-footed yet nimble too, and fast. Did I mention they were fast? | 10 |

Whitedot Say...
If charging bowls of fresh powder or hucking cliffs is your thing, then this is the ski you need! The Redeemer is Whitedot’s flag ship ski; born out of collaboration with pro riders from Chamonix, Mayrhofen and Verbier. Truly a rider influenced design, these planks will put a grin from ear to ear on almost any back country rider hitting the powder. Massive amounts of float with a fully rockered tip and tail, whilst retaining the trademark Whitedot full-length torsional stiffness to deliver a fully versatile powder ski.

Whitedot Say...
with a 500 gram saving per ski over the regular Redeemer, the CarbonLite saves the skier the equivalent of 5 kilograms off his backpack weight. By combining cutting edge composites and natural materials weve built a ski that is lightweight, strong and durable. Working on the tried and much tested performance platform of the Redeemer, the Redeemer CarbonLite has been designed for those pushing the limits of powder skiing. This ski is for those who want to reduce weight in their equipment, for those skiers who want to boot pack or skin to reach the highest peaks, or for those who simply want a lightweight ski that does not compromise in performance or adaptability.
