Dot., Doesn't that damage your vehicle gutters/ roof system, well over the weight limit? 60 pairs of skis is 200-250kg?

At that time it was mounted on a full steel cage type roof system (I think the 60 includes a little poetic licence too). The most we put in it now that it's on my roof, most of the time, is 20 pairs which chimes in with the weight rating of my roof bars. The box itself though is fibreglass as opposed to plastic and has a much higher weight rating than it's competitors.

midgetbiker, I know that box of 10 I delivered to Jon for you was a monster, makes more sense.
Still got those short Directors BTW, I think you mentioned you may have a last pair lurking about, could work for my OH............?

How much spam does that equate to?
Bit of an odd first post from snoblo. Someone in the roof box game probably.

Dot., really, what you get up to in private is up to you.
All I know is that snoblo is more interested in selling that box than buying it.

I Use a slim box contains 6 pairs, actually aids fuel economy marginally by breaking Kamm effect of vehicle.

hmmm that Kamei looks really nice but a tad over my budget @ 369, I originally only wanted to spend around 250 as I will only use it a couple times a year tops. I've heard Thule have good locking systems, can anyone comment?
Thefatcontroller: Don't really want a second hand one to be honest I'd rather buy new and have some warranty etc.
Will keep looking and post my findings, please keep posting your recommendations.
PS I'm not trying to sell anything, although it would be quite cunning if I were!
