Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

kr's arrived today. em they look like a pair of ski's Very Happy pretty chuffed with them but its a shame under the circumstances of getting a nice cheap pair of skis possibly due to a small independent company goin bankrupt. hope they sort there poo-poo out and survive. next problem is gettin them to spyderjon for some QK's Puzzled

Yeah I'm thinking about trying to just quiver killer them myself, shouldn't be too hard but I don't want to have to buy all the kit haha

mag1882, dont necessarily need all the specialist kit. Sure some it is a help but not strictly necessary - standard diy hardware doings will do all you need (although a gradual build up of more dedicated kit over time is worth it if you will do plenty of swapping/changing/buying), you just don't need it all to do a good job first time. have at it

Looks like I'm the only person who got stiffed. Conrad seem to have pretty much admitted they might have cocked up due to unforecast demand and not dealt with all orders on a strict First In First Out basis.

fatbob, so unfair. Sad You never know, we might see a sudden influx of coreupt skis on ebay cos of this sale (I'll be checking ebay.de myself snowHead ). Or, more sadly, an influx of skis at dirt cheap prices from coreupt manufacturing lines closing down. Sad

wigan, nobody mentioned it but park skis are generally lighter too. And the thing about DB's is they're reinforced at the edges so you don't break them with countless jumping into the sides of rails. Very Happy

I think he just cribbed it from here

http://www.powdermag.com/latest-news/coreupt-bankrupt/

also check out the various Skipass threads (again some Google Translated stuff has been posted in this thread, but without any link to the source which makes it hard to make sense of some of the information)

http://www.skipass.com/forums/sports/ski_freestyle/sujet-122041-50.html

btw you can continue in this zombie state for at least a year in France if you can meet day to day operating costs but you have to show you have a plan to come out of receivership (sale of assets, new investors).

Not exactly there, but it's close enough, & I'm sure the origins are the same.

The info is only from the rumour mill and i certainly don't claim any exclusive sources (or that it's guaranteed correct).

Anyone ordered the caspers? they look like a pipe ski that would also do as an all mountain twin tippy gs type ski, good pipe skis are usually pretty stiff (ish), dims are 112 79 105

just torn between two sizes 183 or 173

i am 174cm and about 75kgs

If anyone has ordered them, and they have actually appeared, would be grateful if you could do a measure of them to see if they are true to size, or measure short etc. and also how stiff Very Happy Very Happy

Boosterfaceman, mine have done the same, arrived Barking and now in Tamworth, not the most direct route to the South Coast but hopefully they'll still be delivered on time tomorrow

Spyderjon will be an expert on fitting bindings to CoreUpts by the end of the summer!

Probably the weekend after next. Never used a ski with a decent turn radius before, just so everyone knows they don't measure true to size, my 171s are actually 168. Very solid feeling ski.

I suspect my daughter will float on anything on hers. They're 163cm 112/89/108. She's about 162cm and not much over 7 stone with excellent technique. They probably won't get a run out until next February, I think she'd better stick to her Blizzards for her BASI1 in the summer.

They seem to have updated the stock on their website, and actually ADDED stuff. The yards are back, but strangely they've added the R88s which I imagine a couple of people might be interested in.

My "flex on the foot" test indicates 'Medium' stiffness, softening towards the tail wink

A quick question, the little gold triangle between the length and the S/N - is that the boot centre point ?
