Bode Swiller, looks like the skifreedom place we stayed at in Verbier last week. No beer in the bar and the lightbulbs are hard to replace.

Hmm think if I had silly money I might go after this place http://www.chaletzermattpeak.com/index.html Check out the pics of the ski and boot room
Not so silly money, as it happens currently up for sale for 22 Million Swiss Francs

Jivebaby, not sure about that, but I think if had for instance won the Euromillions on a rollover I would be very very tempted, at the very least I'd employ the Architect and Interior Designer to make me one in Wengen
Sadly unless I do win the Euromillions that's unlikely to occur but I guess we can all dream
I do love the way you can walk out of the boot room having left the boots on the heaters and go past the wine cellar on your way to the lift, very civilised, unlike many places they have also selected the site for fantastic views even if that did mean having to dig out the mountain side and build a tunnel to access the place

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

D G Orf, Yes very tempting -My wine cellar is behind the guest ski cave so you can't walk through it and I've never given the butler a key

D G Orf, you would think for that price they would not have gone to Ikea for the bar chairs and dining chairs

LOVE the chalet (lie) but I'm not going to buy it because I can't afford to buy all the toilet paper needed for all those bathrooms. You must also need a tanker full of Toilet Duck. Ho hum. Back to the caravan in Scotland...

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Ski Tyke, it's on the books of several high end chalet companies , can't remember which one had the rental prices, Oh and it's selling price may have been reduced to a mere 19.5M Chf

I used to live right behind the chalet. In fact the Ski Extra Chalet is two doors down, so I know the place quite well.
There's a secret tunnel. And despite being a "little" on the gaudy side is a pretty cool place.
There was a rumour that it was decorated by a very famous designer but I think they are unfounded.
It doesn't have the best aspect but certainly gets more sun than Sir Richards gaff. At least with Dick's place you can ski IN and virtually ski out.
Bottom line: both are equal distance from the Farm Club.
