Not really a snow report,................... more like mud, grass and mountain flowers
les carroz is very quiet (apart from the odd new build going on) just finished a 6 hour walk and saw..............no one!! did get a bit wet at the start, but now a pleasant sunny evening.
Just one thing to note, the base gondola station has changed turnstyle access. The two sets of turnstyles opposite each other have gone, as have the steps to get to the same level as the gondola. Now there is a ramp up from both sides and a 1 set of turnstyles where the steps were.
Still little patches of snow under gron lift and quite a few fallen trees to scramble over on some of the walking paths we have been on.

Cold today out of the sun, went up the col to Flaine golf course on my bike and got rather chilly on the way down (forgot how steep and long it is! was glad for the rather larger rear cog on the cassette after all the flat timetrials I have done this season!)
seem to be replacing the old drag lift up the side of figaro which takes you from les arielles hotel up to level with the gondola

1st september
Snowing in les carroz at about 5am this morning, (now just rather cloudy and wet) and lots of snow on point d'areu (2478m) opposite the village. Its a bit cold!
