Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Best place to rent something with a little girth?

I've had some happy times on my Prophet 90s, but there's a decent chance I'll be heading to Japan this year and it seems like time to invest in something bigger with a bit of rocker. The question is what...Whitedot Directors have a great buzz about them, but then so do JJs and Gotamas and maybe even Black Crow Navis. I'd quite like to try a couple of them out to see what I like the feel of (I have a horrible feeling I've gotten lazy and would like something soft and noodley).

So does anyone know where's good to stand a chance of renting some of the above (I'd guess the gotamas are probably all over, but not the others?)? I guess Chamonix will have most of them (I know Whitedot normally have a rental fleet there), but is there anywhere in Swiss or Austria?

Or should I just mtfu and get some Directors? Madeye-Smiley

the_doc, ooh, that's potentially interesting...am planning a late Nov trip and 'tux is an option. Will drop you a PM if it looks like we're going to be in the area. And if we don't go there then Eberg has got a chance!

the_doc, nope - should I be?!

Cheers for the advice guys - I'm in Tignes in mid December so if I don't end up in Hintertux then that should do nicely.
