It's been about 14 degrees and rain here at 700m this morning, so expecting a little snow at altitude

Looks that way, fair bit of snow on that webcam /\. Snowline looks to be just above the resort at 2300m

Actually looks to be a fair bit above from the resort webcam.

VT is suposidly opening on Nov 19th but the only snow at 2300m (resort level) is man made around the cannons. 
Forecast suggests colder temps to be on the way over the next week but v little snow expected at resort level.
They need to do their magic soon!

Snow cannons on at higher altitude, and it looks like they have been on overnight at resort level from the webcams.
It'll be interesting to see if they do try and open anything for the 19th!! There's very little forecast between now and then, a flurry on the 19th maybe, so if they do open anything it'll be mostly man made.

paulio, and you are in the region so will have a good idea. The latania.co.uk site is trying to drum up early business by saying that snow is on the way and showing a the chart with more wiggles on it. Weather can change of course.......

They seem to be making some semblance of pistes under the cannons higher up. Doesn't seem impossible that they could have some pistes higher up with enough manmade to ski on?

Great view on the Saulire webcam of the cannons below. good pic on latania.co.uk of cannons blowing on La Croisette piste-front. Pack it down for a nice snowy base for all that natural snow that's going to fall in the next 3 weeks!

Hardly a sign of a snowflake here in Courchevel area. Been glorious and sunny and pretty warm for last couple of weeks. There are rumours of the odd centimetre of snow down to around 2000 m on Tuesday and Wednesday so we'll see.

Looks like they've been running the cannons at full pace, mountains of artificial stuff in VT now. No sign of any natural snow though.
