Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

free climbing - ie solo and no rope.

You are the one who is wrong. I know it, you know and now everyone knows it and yet there you go still dig, dig digging your hole... You have tried to lecture people on a subject you know nothing about and inevitably made a fool of yourself

I do indeed know how big the north wall is, having visited many times. It is also very far from being vertical and if a climber were to fall, within a split second he would be bounce, bounce, bouncing down the face, quite dead, and hit the bottom in several seperate peices.

Parachutes may be useful - as SZK said earlier - for when one decides to jump off - when you're finished, or bored, or have run out of fags.

Scarpa I have climbed neither... I'm not a Tremadog fan - I always seem to step in some dogs!t on the 'walk in' and that chuffing cafe gets on my nerves. Am watching the weather madly for the forthcoming week - it alternates between the sublime and the Snowdonian. rolling eyes

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
He trains for up to 12 months before making such an ascent; clearly he's highly dedicated rather than just resting on his natural talent alone.

A rather special athlete.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There were some close up shots, do you reckon he was filming himself as he went? It didn't look as though there was anyone close by with him.
