With talk of snow on other threads, I miss 123_456's daily snow reports 
I checked out a couple of webcams earlier in the day, but spotting a few flakes on a low res picture is no subsitute for a first hand account with quality photos.
Anyone know how much Les Menuires got today?

Currently in Les Menuires. This morning at least 5cm..and gorgeous sunshine all afternoon. Jerusalem was fantastic, fast and not at all crowded. If this is the busiest week of the year, the Alps must be empty for 51 weeks.
Some brown spots in places,but nothing to worry about. Piste bashers doing good job and snow machines kicking in at 6:30ish every night.

Very early in the morning there was during a short period light snowfall.
In the morning big clouds around the summits. Later during the day sunshine, sometimes the sun disappeared for a short period behind a cloud.
Temperatures around freezing point and moderate winds from the south. Below 1800 meter soft fondant type snow.
All pistes are covered with snow, only minor spots with less snow. The snow it self is hard and the piste are not is flat as two weeks ago.
This was one of the weeks with lots of children. It seems to be very busy and all accomodation occupied. There is hardly a parking place available and even my private indoor parking place was illegal in use by a car with a french license plate.

Blue skies all day with only high clouds between 15.00 and 16.00.
On the roads big crowds that are coming and leaving today. So relative quiet on the pistes.
Piste conditions in Val Thorens are much better than yesterday in Mottaret/meribel.

Again sunny weather with no wind during the whole day. Temperature at 2000 meter during midday more then +5 degrees.
On most blue pistes it is very crowded. On the black pistes of La masse there was hardly nobody.
It is good skiing on most of the pistes, but far from perfect and you constantly have to watch for the the bad spots and idiots coming down uncontrolled.

Unchanged weather, piste and snow conditions.
Excellent for sitting on one of the many the terasses.
Some unusual news : the residence of Pierre et Vacances in Courchevel 1650 burn down last night. A few people have minor injuries caused by the rapid evacuation. Hunderds of tourists lost their belongings and their accomodation.
During the night they stayed at the Tourist Office.

That is Bd Cumin. The low road back to Les Menuires from Val Thorens. It actually looks in pretty good condition given the lack of snow round about. Bear in mind that these are fairly low south facing slopes so are first to lose their snow.

Just like the days before lovely spring weather.
It is curious that certain pistes are hardly used and others overcrowded.
Skiing between 12.00 and 14.00 has the advantages of no waiting times at the lifts and pistes for your own.

It stays sunny beautifull weather with only some minor high altitude fiber clouds.
Most of the slopes are in a reasonbly good condition, some pistes have wonderful snow.
Skiing just outsides the crowded pistes is most of the time very advisory. Good snow and your are alone.

A little warmer today, complete blue sky and sunshine in abundance.
The weather forecast says that the coming days will be clouded with some precipitation.
Everybody hopes it will be snow.
At the end of the day a lot of tourists were packing and leaving the resorts to prevent the usual traffic jams of the coming saterday.

Most of the mainlifts were closed.
Snow is blowed away of the pistes and what remains is ice.

123_456, sounds like the same as Courchevel, best on the lower runs amongst the trees, only Saliure cable car open at altitude.

Only light wind at 2000 meter. But higher strong winds and high avalanche risk.
Most lifts were closed and also the liaisons to the other valleys.
Even the draglift Montelauver does not give access to Val Thorens and also the Bd Cumin was closed.
So only a few pistes were available and more over this where the pistes was slush and ice and worn out by the many skiers.

7 of us going out there on the 26th March, not sure if I am glad we still have another couple of weeks for it to snow or apprehensive that there is another tow weeks for the little snow they have had may disapear !!!!

All lifts and pistes open again after two days with high winds.
TSD Doron and TC Bruyeres 1 were closed due to technical problems.
Strong winds today and some sunshine. Temperature at 2000 meter +6 degrees.
Very crowded pistes and 10 mintues waiting time for the main lifts.
Condition of the pistes is far from perfect. Yesterday night some minor snowfall: 1 cm

Very cloudy today and at higher altiude mist and strong winds.
Several lifts were closed. Piste conditions did not change much because there is no sunshine.
There are three types of slopes now : frozen snow, nice slightly slushy snow and powdery snow that had been blown from the off-piste onto the slopes.
Temperature during midday at 2000 meter + 7 degrees.
More people concentraded on the higher pistes gives the impression that is very busy during these days.
But in Courchevel it is more quiet.

Fab morning above mid station all around Tougnette. Went to VT and got caught when the weather changed. An awful trip back, set off too late, didn't allow for the awful conditions, mounded gloop with heavy fresh falling, zero viz, missed download on St Martin 1 gondola
A truly broken .man, may well be too fooked to ski tomorrow if the viz is bad. Snowing about 1900.

Less wind, clouds, snowfall in the afternoon and some minor sunny spells in the morning.
The snow fell between 14.00 and 17.00 at temperatures just above zero. Sometimes hail, sometimes big snowflakes, no great powder and all very wet.
