Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi all i've searched the forum for some reviews and i just cant find any.....
has anyone actually skiied these???
Sidecut: 125/95/120
Turn radius: 21m @ (179cm)
I've been looking for some new all mountain ski's for the past few months and really like the look of the Whitedot Freeride The One's and the 2011 Prophet 100's, but i just cant get away from the 09/10 graphics plus reviews of the Kung Fujas on other sites.... like this one http://evolutionvt.blogspot.com/search?q=kung
But there all american except the fall line http://www.fall-line.co.uk/gear/skis/k2/kung-fujas-0910 but i take what they ski with a pinch of salt.
I would like a perspective from a european resort skiier of how they tackle ice on a january morn and how quick they are edge to edge, and what there like on piste if no off-piste avaliable or its already been tracked out......
Can anyone help.....
Cheers Andy

Shoogly thats a good shout, I have already seen them on there website, but they only have the longer ski's in stock and I need 169's due to my height and weight, so will prob have to buy from - biker boarder at the current exchange rate i think is 1.18, with marker griffon 12 bindings £396 and marker jester 16 bindings £455
There also 95mm waist and the new ones 102 i believe,

skiied them at the Glenshee ski test this year and Ellis Brigham in Glasgow had a demo pair too i think, anyway there wasn't any ice at Glenshee for a change it was pretty nice powder and packed groomed snow, they coped with both with ease as you might expect, i cant say how fast edge to edge they are it's impossible really it's skiier dependent mostly but they felt nimble enough for me, if i got a pair i think i would be skiing them a lot of the time

I have a pair and can confirm they are pretty great on all conditions!
Mine are the 169, I am selling them this season to get a longer pair as I got them short to progress quickly on.
Cant fault them really.
They are much better edge to edge than the first Fujas and hold and carve the edge well for a twinny.
Any one intersted in buying them gimme a shout.
Cheers

Haven't skied them, a friend has and he really liked them. That being said it was a toss up between those and Scott Crusades and he chose the Crusades! You'll struggle to find a new set in that length of last seasons skis, as they were pretty much sold out by Jan mainly down to the positive reviews. Not a massive fan of the new graphic, a bit brown! But it is exactly the same ski this season as 09/10. Good luck searching for them

Hey man if your looking for quite a soft ski then these are awesome amazing off piste but if you want to charge you want to go for something stiffer you will get quite alot of chatter out of them but if you prefer slow to moderate speeds and not that aggressive then there awesome
