Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just got home from Rhodes (14 days of +40C sunshine - heaven Very Happy ). Only the road trip to go and the it's back to winter and planning the ski trip YAY!! Laughing

Few weeks booked off, shortlist drawn up, it's all good. Will be out dry-land-drilling 360s before long. Dear God, I'm a hopeless case - hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way. How I wish I was there, but so speaks the softly spoken magic spell.

September is my favorate month because it's the month I actually do a lot of my "summer" activities without the summer crowd and insane heat!!! Very Happy

So, no, instead of looking for sign of summer being "over", I'm looking at signs of summer really "starting"! For me anyway. Wink

If Semptember can last for the whole year, I can even live without winter!!!

Hi abc I know what you mean about heat during summer. . Its 4 or 5c in mornings just now and when I get back from work its 18 to 21. . So I mountain bike for a bit in evenings and pray for snow during mornings. .but id rather be boarding. . Smile

I'm down in Südtirol at the mo. Timmelsjoch* was closed for a couple of days due to heavy snowfall this week Toofy Grin

*The pass that takes you from Obergurgl to Meran. 2500m Only open for a few months, usually from end of June till sometime in October.

The leaves have started to turn autumnal in the last few days around manchester. A sure sign that autumn/winter is on its way.
