Colin B, would you mind sharing where you stayed in Zermatt? I'm always recommending it to people but the next question is where can I stay for cheap which I struggle with as we usually go for weekends and stay in a hotel (Walliserhof) which is quite reasonable for Zermatt but certainly isn't cheap...

BobinCH, Sure, I booked it through Interhome, although I noticed that the price seemed to have gone up a lot this year and next year, I only paid about £400 last year (with a 10% discount). It was this one. I think there were others in the same block privately advertised, probably cheaper than Interhome now. It's ideal only 5 minutes from Kleine Matterhorn lift.
