yes - it's the only jacket for ages that i have paid anywhere near full RRP for and don't regret it
it is meant as a fairly minimal bit of mountaineering kit so you need to bear than in mind. not much in the way of liftpass pockets etc, but it and a baselayer will cover a huge range of conditions and it's so comfy that it's a bit like wearing a cotton hoody next to your skin.

fatbob, sadly not - we didn't have a car so were at the mercy of our Finnish friends or just grabbing the Nelson - Whitewater shuttle.
Mike Pow, don't listen to Arno, he liked the colour and it sounded really cool, "Speed Ascent" - which goes with his "Speed" bindings...

shoogly, Get yourself there, and some of the other interior mountains 9 Red for a 2nd ) Forget about Banff and LL you 'll have a lot more fun in these places
