Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi everyone

I have flights booked for 25.11.09-02.12.09 to Geneva.

Spent 1/2 a season in Verbier and the Pyrenees last year.

Looking to do some early season warm up.

Is anyone around? May likely do 27.11-01.12 on the snow and the other days see friends in Geneva.

No fixed plan yet.

Am thinking Verbier, Zermatt or France for skiing. Anywhere there are people/it is open/there is a deal!

Please respond here. Or, to xavier.adam@redamc.com

Thanks

Xavier

Don't want to be obvious but Tignes / Val Thorens should both be open then. Tignes may be glacier only until the weekend, but judging by the snow reports thread - http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=55130&start=80 it suggests there's more than that open currently. should be no more than 2:30 hrs and 2 hours or so in a car respectively (assume clear run) from GVA

Not sure where else is open that might work and is not too far.. - http://snowheads.com/ski-forum/viewtopic.php?t=54936 has the resort opening dates

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks a lot. Verb is now partly open, this weekend. Zermatt too I think. Tignes was on my list, is only a mini-break, so not too fussed about lots of snow/altitude. Probably just do 2/3 days skiing on this trip. Cheers.
