What was St Anton like today, I did Warth and it was great in the morning, but deteriorated to a snowstorm in the afternnon.
One thing to note, St Anton is a lot easier to get in and out of than Warth. The road down from the pass was pretty tricky in the snow.

You can hike up, I hiked up last season for fresh virgin turns before the lifts fired up !!
It should be open by 20th

Lech received 10cm on friday and nothing since:( Currently weather conditions are making my 3rd January trip a little worrying. Fingers crossed for a a New Years eve dump:)

What is the weather like up there Stanton. I was planning a day off this week, but Wednesday and Thursday look snowy. They are even expecting snow down here on the lake

Oh, he seems to hate more than Brits but I am aware of his track record...
However, this was a genuine attempt to work out exactly what his 'expertise'/knowledge is in relation to Austria and skiing.

So he's a Dutch ski bum living in Amsterdam (must be quite a rare thing there!) with a prodigious knowledge of St Anton and the Arlberg or a Dutch ex-pat ski bum living in St Anton/the Arlberg or a Brit who has gone Dutch living in... etc. etc.
You see it's all very confusing and given most of the posts I've seen from him in the past have been of the "hater/baiter" kind I'm actually quite interested to work out whether to take any notice of his non "hater/baiter" posts.
Not getting very far though am I
