Seen a ski boot fall out of an overhead locker before now and hit someone on the head. Also seen a bloke waiting for his plane in the departure lounge of
Zurich airport with his ski boots still on. Maybe thats the answer if you don't mind everyone laughing at you.

[quote="abc"]According to the advices given at snowhead, there seems to be a fairly long list of "must" one shouldn't venture onto a piste without:
1) Helmets: -- one would be daf/crazy/no-brain NOT to wear one (though that point is still hotly debated)
Last week in Whistler, walking out of the ski depot, all kitted up, a middle aged american lady stopped me and with a wondering expression asked " Are you going to ski without a helmet?"
"Yes, why do you ask?" I replied.
"Oh good!" she responded " We didn't want to be the only ones on the mountain!!" pointing to her husband looking sheepish.
