Maybe this is a good time to mention that they've been building a snow dome in Cardiff for the past 12 years or more  And whatever happened to that huge ski development down West, near Arberth Narberth or somewhere wasn't it going to be?

rayscoops, The second link says that the Council Cabinet were set to make a decision on June 7th.
Any more news from our man on the ground in Swansea?

Interesting stuff and thanks for the links.
They certainly seem to talking the whole venture up but I still haven't seen anything about the size of the slope - hopefully more details will appear soon.

The agreement was made by the Council Cabinet on the 7th June. However I believe this was an agreement between the developer and the council to go ahead and build the slope and that it can be built on the site 'subject to planning approval'. It is now for the developer to submit detailed plans. At which point we should know the length of the slope.
