Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Maybe this is a good time to mention that they've been building a snow dome in Cardiff for the past 12 years or more rolling eyes And whatever happened to that huge ski development down West, near Arberth Narberth or somewhere wasn't it going to be?

Interesting stuff and thanks for the links.

They certainly seem to talking the whole venture up but I still haven't seen anything about the size of the slope - hopefully more details will appear soon.

The agreement was made by the Council Cabinet on the 7th June. However I believe this was an agreement between the developer and the council to go ahead and build the slope and that it can be built on the site 'subject to planning approval'. It is now for the developer to submit detailed plans. At which point we should know the length of the slope.

 You know it makes sense.

Mogs, yip that is about it. The pro badger mob and every other group will be sniffing around, plus all the other planning objections etc. This is just an agreement to put the wheels in motion. Sorry for being negative Very Happy

Latest info on the Swansea Ski Centre. Again it does state that it is subject to Planning Approval but it does seem to be moving forward. No info on how long the slope will be though Puzzled
