Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

People do that all the time on their park boards, at least according to their mobile phones.

Think it’s a shame that the track in Les Arcs is no longer maintained I did it 40 years ago twice in Arc 2000 as a 15 year old part of a ESF teenagers course , still got a certificate somewhere clocked an official time of 137km

This is the speed track in Sun Peaks. It was, then dunno about now, a normal piste. We skied it a few days before a competition

Ah, I know something about that, having some connexions to the non-FIS speed ski people and Sun Peaks, albeit from a decade or so back.
That's "the headwalls" and it's not a full sized speed ski track, but as you say it's where they hold speed races in North America.

Respect.
I photographed a few speed ski events and although someone offered to lend me the correct type of snowboard, I didn't have the courage.

They actually designed the courses back them to limit the top speed - the idea wasn't to just go faster and faster, it was a competition on the day.
