Always makes me curious as to what the residents of these far off places think when they see these cheap flights appear. Are the good folk of Gerona all running round thinking "Great, we can get a cheap week in Doncaster in the middle of winter, flights are only €60"

pistenbully, Luton flights are usually the best prices - because they have 5 or 6 flights a day to fill. Usually worht the extra mileage for us to get there!

johnboy, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, Durham and Cleveland are on half term hols starting the 17/18 Feb. But those of us in the North of North Yorkshire (start 10/11 Feb) that spotted the flghts @ £52pp for our week seem to have got a bargain. It would appear that Easyjet have now realised there mistake. The flights for the Sunday 11th are £200pp and for the Saturday 10th are now £394pp

Thanks for the (Snow)heads-up on Gatwick-Geneva
I just spent the morning booking flights and car-hire for some weekend trips.
My colleagues think I am barking mad for booking so early....but when it is a family of four, and when we are talking about 6+ trips per season the £££ saved by booking as early (cheap) as possible are substantial!

Weekends Fri-sun last flight both ways worket out about £95 perp person
1/2 term was instantly nearly £300 pp (I've already booked on BA going to a different airport and having a longer drive...less than £100 pp, 1.5 hours extra driving...seems worth it to me!).
On the whole I find Easy are well priced for weekends, so long as you book early.
They are very efficient at spotting high demand periods, and price accordingly...dammit!

rungsp, we often end up using BA as well even for weekends. By the time you've saved on ski carriage they are often cheaper than SleezyJet/LyingAir etc

Roger C, agree.
Easy are getting too clever at pricing to demand. There are no "headline" priced flights on a friday, saturday, sunday between Gatwick and Geneva on any weekend in the ski season.
I can't blame them...I'd do the same...but from my own selfish point of view it is a bummer.
Swiss out of London City do have some good prices...it is easy for me to get there from work, but a total nightmare to get home from on a late sunday evening. If you are London based it can be a very good option though.
In the days that BA and Swiss did a code share there were sometimes some really good arbitrage opprtunities...the two often had very different prices for exactly the same plane. Sadly they have gone their seperate ways now. Another bummer.
Still, I can't complain, I've got 6 trips already booked (flights & car), 30 days skiing arranged.
2 more weekends and I will be done.

A warning for people flying with Easyjet to Geneva, it seems they have a nasty habit of cancleing your flights (after you have left the country) and not bothering to tell you!)
Not at all happy, given that they couldnt fly me back untill the monday (and even that wasnt to the correct airport), which would have missed 2 days of work.
Ended up having to pay 400 quid for a ticket in Business class with BA. In future i think i will be looking twice before booking with Easyget...
