Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

recommend an instructor in Saalbach (medical)

So....long story short I "am / was" a decent (by uk standards), I could quite happily ski pretty much most / all conditions, I enjoyed off piste and I was getting into ski touring but easier this year I fractured my kneecap and I've had it rebuilt and my physio has cleared me for a return to skiing. However I'm heading out to Saalbach in a couple of week and I thinking about picking up a few hours private tuition while out there.

So can anyone make any good recommendations? specifically I would like someone who has experience of injured skiers and the bio-mechanics of skiing / knees rather than just a factory instructor.

@enduroaid, I can't help on instructors I'm afraid but if you post in the Saalbach thread for this year there are plenty of people who know more about the area than me. Some SHs like out there/have apartments in the area.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@enduroaid, I would have a chat with Penhab Ski School. Their instructors are very good and experienced - including the Bulgarian guys, Georgi Popov, Iavor Vasilew, and Kris Dragoshinov. Mention my name (can’t do any harm).
Other very experienced instructors of my acquaintance are John Walker (Furstauer), Nick Tilby (Furstauer), Simon Hodges (Snow Academy), and Stuart Watt (Easyski).
