Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

psychologically good to get a date in everyone's diaries to offset the disappointment of the realism that this year isn't going to happen.... Smile

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

so that's a NO to Italy opening effectively for international skiers.

Well, quoting from the Telegraph article:

“I think it is unlikely that the ski season will resume on February 15,” said Valeria Ghezzi, the president of a national association of lift operators." - Source: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2021/01/15/opening-ski-resorts-italy-postponed-mid-february/

Not much joy out of Italy indeed.

Perhaps the originator of the thread @vinf could edit the title, since Italy is definitely not opening 18th Jan, the earliest date is now 15th Feb and there are doubts whether the ski resorts will open at all this season. Sad (@vinf, if you go to edit your your first post by clicking on the scissors icon it also shows the thread title which can be edited)

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You could feel the tension in the air, the snowhead's crowd was getting restless. It was just a matter of time before it all kicked off, handbags were being drawn.

Good news for those who live local to the lifts in Italy although I see non-essential travel between regions is still banned.
