Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello,
I'm probbaly in a similar situation to a number of people on here.
Was due to Ski in Val Thorens
Here's the situation:
- Booked a holiday with sunweb
- Flew from Manchester to Geneva on 14th March. Upon arrival at Geneva we were told by the rep that the resort is now closed (the french government made the call whilst we were in the air)
- Rep told us that we would have to take our transfer to the hotel and wait for sunweb to organise a return flight
- Stayed in our hotel in Val Thorens for 2 days with nothing to do except go to the supermarket
- Return flight was organised by sunweb for 16th March and we flew home (except we flew to London not Manchester)
They have issued a refund for the cost of the holiday, minus flights + transfers + used accomondation. (Cost of return flight was more expensive than what was included in the original holiday price)
Total refund is now half of the holiday price
What I want to know is that since our holiday was basically non existent, is there any way we would be entitled to a full refund (i'd happily take a voucher)
P.S: Cant argue withsunweb, they did a fantastic job of getting us back home

You can't argue with the bits you used. Insurance pays for the loss of amenity elements on a days lost basis.
