6 pints mid-mountain means making your way back to the top to ski down to the apres ski bar at the bottom.
There again, we are used to drinking. Its classed as a Hobby in Wales.

I suspect this is a gross exaggeration. How do they know who was under the influence or had even just had a drink, how many people would tell their insurers that they were drunk at the time? Yes of course there will be some accidents and incidents in which drink is clearly implicated and the insurers can probably decline claims arising out of such incidents but they need to prove that alcohol was the operative cause of the issue, ie that the injured person was (a) drunk and (b) the alcohol was at least in part the cause of the event which caused the injury. Once again rubbish journalism imho.

Is having a couple of drinks through the day really that different to people I see skiing with headphones in? Or the weed smokers? Or people filming. Not really. All effect people's reaction times.
Soon we will be saying that you can't ski unless you've had a minimum 7 hours sleep.
The issue is....as with everything...is people who go to excess.

@HoneyBunny, She has many videos of that night, including a 20 minute ascent of a 15 metre slope behind the hut, on my knees and falling over constantly.
