BobinCH, Those last shots look great, skiers right from Rendezvous ?, and where's your last run from ?
Have you ventured into town yet ? Or just stayed at TV - Sillver Dollar is good as under a new name, says, The Cowboy Bar was just your average tourist place IIRC.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Came here to ski - not for bars! Went out the gate from the top of the tram, skied far right, hiked up the next hill and then skied down in that valley. There was another boot pack further right but it was getting late and I was alone so left it for today.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Become to expensive & commercial.
Nowadats cannot walk into the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar without hearing a European accent in every corner. |
How can you call this place commercial and expensive coming from St Anton?

I didn’t. In the Corbet’s pic I’m looking back up at a random bloke peering over the cornice at the top

I'm glad I'm not the only one!
I had always felt that way, be it bars, or places to watch footsy... But I kept it to myself thinking maybe I'm just odd. Well, maybe we're the minority but at least now I know I'm not the only one.
I see you're =going out the gate on a longer tour today. Have a fabulous day! (and be safe)

Stayed at the Hostel. Really friendly place. Breakfasts at the Mangy moose, which also had a shop for provisions and a lively looking bar. Had dinner at the Osteria, Italian place in the Terra hotel - nice vibe, good food. Rented skis from Teton village sports - great selection of skis, bring your own boots! Flying out tomorrow morning so just checked into the Wort Hotel in Jackson which is super nice. Looks like i’ll get to sample the Silver Dollar after all...
