 Poster: A snowHead

My son is just 14. He has been skiing since 3 and is now a very good skier who spends the majority of his time either off piste or in the parks. He is approx. 153 cm tall and just under 50kg and just about to outgrow the 149cm K2 Juvy twintips he used last season and this Christmas.
Looking for views on whether a longer kids twintip (say 160cm) would still be suitable due to his light weight or should I now be looking at mens or suitably styled womens twintips for his next pair?
Any views and recommendations welcome.

One of my sons used to have the K2 Juvy.
Once he grew out of them he took up boarding, but every now an then he "borrows" my K2 Fugitives, and really enjoys them.
Even though the Fugitives are sold as a "park and pipe" ski, I have used them all over, including doing the Valley Blanche on them ( really light to carry down the ridge at the start and when climbing back up at the end).
Unfortunately the Fugitive is now discontinued, but it might be worth renting the "Press" 159 for a day or so as they look like they would be fun.

@dking2001, ...my 12 year old tore around the hill this Christmas on some Volkl Gotamas - 138 for his 147cm height - was carving on all the ice on them, floating in the loose stuff, and throwing 180s and 360s off anything bumpy. Seemed to work...
...lovely skis...wood core...very nicely constructed...perhaps the same in a longer length?
