Snow level still hovering about 900m, no significant snow at low levels in the forecast. In Niederau we do have 2 valley runs open, the forecast cold weather will hopefully allow enough man made snow to open the others and a couple more beginners areas in the Valley. In Auffach and Alpbach snow above the middle station is in good condition following the sow we have had over the last couple of days.

En route home after a lovely week. Beautiful blue skies. Not the most enjoyable conditions at time, very icy lower down but great fun none the less. I thought the skiing was much better on the Wildschönau side.

Amazing how gentle that slope looks in some pictures - and how steep it looks when you are standing there looking at it. Nearly time to stand there again. Travel insurance sorted out this morning. Knew there was something still left to do. Just the packing now though. And maybe some walking around the house in ski boots to break them in again.
