Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Geneva to Tignes Transfers

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Can anyone shed some light on the best and cheapest way to get to Tignes from Geneva Aiport on boxing day, which falls on a Monday this year. I understand that BensBus only operate at weekends and I can find very little information online about any other direct bus links (Alpskibus is mentioned but their website looks to be down). Are there any other value operators, or is it possible to train to Bourg and get a bus up from there?

Quotes for car hire and private transfers are extortionate and way beyond my budget.

Try altibus.com Not super cheap, by a long way, but probably your best bet.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've used CoolBus, again not cheap but very good service.

There was a topic on this just a few days ago. [Link below]
@pam w, is correct that Altibus is the best bet. Bens Bus just piggybacks on altibus routes and buys seats at a preferential rate from them.

I use Unibus from Geneva to Saint Gervais, they do go else where. 20 euro each way and only takes 1 hour 10 mins.

I've used Loyet (they also trade as "Simply Transfers"). They were good; cheap, punctual and reliable.

I don't think that is correct. Certainly as far as the Val d'Isere/Geneva service goes, I have used it twice and it is entirely separate from Altibus, which I have used many times. However BB don't operate weekends. As others have said, the main bus operator between the EK resorts and GVA is Altibus.

That's not what their website says....."Ben’s Bus operates Geneva Airport to Tignes shared ski transfers on Saturdays & Sundays throughout the 2016 / 2017 ski season"
