I have the SJ4000, I paid about £40 from "gearbest" and had to wait about 10 days for delivery. It came with lots of kit but I had to buy a suction pad (meant for windscreen) on ebay for £3. This now sticks to the front of my skis; initially I added a lanyard connecting it to the front binding, but as it never fell off, that is now gone.
For me it was all down to price, I was willing to sacrifice a bit of quality for cheap video footage which is nearly all flying snow and speed anyway. It does work in 1080 HD, but only at 30fps; so I usually use the next setting down to get back up to 60 fps; and the 12 Mp camera is lots optomistic too !!! But for fast and fun it's the dogs b******s.
I like that there is a screen on the back, for taking photos you know what's in shot, and I particularly like the WiFi, everything being recorded is sent bluetooth to your mobile phone, so even when the camera is attached to your helmet, you can check what is being recorded easily.
Batteries are very cheap, so I have 4 and can keep changing them; in the cold, the battery life is seriously shortened, but by keeping the spares in a pocket, they are OK. I shoot much too much video and then disregard loads to make a best video clip of the day, some from helmet, some from front of ski looking back and up at me, rather than the sceneria. Off piste makes you look fantastic and you can edit out all the falls
