Poster: A snowHead
|
Hoping someone who has been to Alpe D'Huez before can answer my easy questions
Which ski hire shops are nearest to Le Cristal De L'Alpe residence? Looking at Sport 2000 but it gives more than a few options and don't know which one is closest.
Again, going to book ESF lessons & wondering which meeting point is closest.
Hope someone can shed some light.
Thanks

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks a.j.
Didn't even notice the sport2000 map option, it helped a lot, cheers.
Have only had positive experiences with ESF in past so willing to keep with them until that changes, hopefully not this holiday tho'.
Enjoyed your trip report apart from the dodgy blues, being a nervous intermediate it makes me jittery

Hi is there an official Alpe D!huez thread. Going for first time in March and would like to find out a bit about resort and snow conditions etc? Thanks in advance.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Is there anyone who lives there or has chalet there? They are usually the ones to start the thread. I've been to the grand massif for the last few years and there's a great bunch on there with loads of info. I'm happy to post updates when I get there but wouldn't even know how to start a new thread. Is there usually one what's it called?
