Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,

Has anyone got any idea where Black Sheep Ski's website has gone? http://www.blacksheepski.co.uk just displays a hosting company's holding page - has someone forgotten to pay the bill...? I was looking at booking lessons for my family for February 2014, but this doesn't exactly fill me with confidence!

That's probably for the best. I have no idea what has happened but I wouldn't be surprised if they have run into some difficulties. Previously, their website was saying that they were unable to take any more bookings for the remainder of the season and that was back in January.

Based off previous experience, your end product may vary wildly anyway.

I suspect they fell foul of the local authorities because they were not quite operating within the laws controlling who can et up ski schools in Austria. Last I heard they were trying Switzerland now but how long they can bend the rules there is open to question too.

As jaffa the reports are that the product was variable any way. Confused

I have to say that I had a private lesson with Black Sheep Last season in Soll and it was very good.

Polite well trained instructor
turned up on time and in the right place
All communication was clear
Instructor worked with my very nervous girlfriend and gave her confidence on the snow

Would book with them again.....but were going to the hof this year
