EB are selling Patagonia Stretch Element jackets for £150, (S, L & XL apparently still available).
Tried and tested in some very bad weather.

fatbob, my staple jacket for the past couple of seasons has been tree green so I should probably mix it up a bit. My yellow jacket looks identical as far as colour is concerned but it is just too warm on all but the coldest days

well my Acreryx Sidewinder AR jacket arrived but XL is too big for me, they must be sizing for USA consumers!

I'm totally on board (pun intended lol) with this bargain section, getting all the right gear can be super expensive and it would be nice if we could all update each other with good finds/bargains! I personally was always looking for a quality AND stylish jacket, so I got this site up and running to help fellow skiers/snowboarders find their perfect fit on the cheap. Check it out, I'm sure you will find a great jacket!

My Arcteryx Fury SV £75 bargain jacket & half price Burton AK jacket & pants combo just arrived. Nothing was packaged so I assume this is stock from the shop floor and the Arcteryx was a bit dusty but not complaining! Seems an odd way to clear the shop stock, rummaging around once they have an order to locate it and wasn't holdng my breath as let down before but I'm a happy chap! 4 months to go!

Went to EB Milton Keynes on Sunday, and there's a few bargains. Kids skis incredibly cheap, last couple of pairs, no bindings though.
Also a couple of last season skis and boots, some heavily discounted - Mrs Monium bought some boots to replace her 26.5 obviously too big boots, got down to a 25! She seems happy, none of the issues she has had with boots before, and they were happy to go through the usual fitting routine despite them being basically half price.
Plenty of clothing on cheap deals, much of it half price. Nothing was so cheap we just had to buy it even though we don't need it.
Quicksilver shop at Xscape was selling off helmets, big display in the corner - lots of helmets down from £80+ to £50. Mens and womens on sale.

If anyone lives in or around Leicester area - the blacks there is closing down due to relocation and is currently selling off stuff at mad prices!
Got lots of bargains - both casual and (more importantly) skiing stuff!
Got me some north face sallopetes, and a matching jacket plus a fleece - £125 for the lot - retail well over £300.
And got the misses a surprise present too = a peak performance ski-jacket in a lovely pinky-purple (i know she will approve!) rrp= £394.99 price paid =£50!---
She will have to take up skiing now ive bought her that right??!!!
I was at a meeting in Leicester and thought id go for a wander around the city centre to find something to eat after the business was done and just stumbled across it so glad i went in now! Made the terrible meeting all worth while!

After a cursory look, it appears to me, no-one who has posted anything above stands to gain commercially from doing so.
Sharing advice in this way is obviously an ideal use of the forum.
Clearly, this topic is not a place for people/companies to publicise their own 'bargains' and if you notice anyone doing so, please notify one of the Piste Patrol immediately.
Furthermore, were anyone to try to 'spoof' news of their own bargains by pretending to be a neutral 3rd party, that would be a serious breach of the rules since such underhand behaviour is detrimental to the integrity of snowHeads generally.
Again, if you suspect this to have occurred, please notify one of the Piste Patrol immediately.
We are still in August and this thread is busy already, so there is some prospect, as we approach the season, of there being too much traffic on this subject for a single topic to do it justice.
It occurs to me that there may be value in creating a specific forum for this as each new deal could be posted to a new topic, highlighting what's on offer by putting the item and the price in the topic title.
Any opinions either way?
