Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

4" in the higher elevations of Burnley this morning but melting quickly now, was tempted to go and try my new skis on the golf course but decided to save them till Obertaurn on Saturday Very Happy .

The 2 inches we got yesterday AM had vanished completely by tea time Sad Only thing left now is the odd remnants of snowmen dotted around in various gardens.

Was all still on the Scotish slopes yesterday - brilliant conditions at Glencoe, lovely grippy squeeky powder on top of their already massive base (you could almost touch the cables on some of their suface tows it was so deep)!

And Nevis as great for the ski test over the weekend too - a fab time had by all including those new to Scottish skiing snowHead snowHead
