Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

mag1882, It's obvious that you want to progress and are prepare to push yourself but as long as you continue working it out for yourself you will spend years not getting to where you want to be. You can't break the rules till you know the rules. Book a cheap holiday on your own (even a bash) or with a like minded mate and spend the week's mornings in lessons and the afternoons having fun applying them. without that no amount of 'what do you think of this' posts will do much more than hold you back.

There are dirt cheap deals out there if you're prepared to rough it and not get ratted every night. Until you have the fundamentals nailed you're going to waste far too much time on the snow.

mag1882, harsh was maybe the wrong word, a lot of the criticism you initially got wasn't very constructive is probably a better way of putting it.

mag1882, I don't know where you are in the country but some race training could be good for you. A solid skiing technique would improve your freestyle.
