kitenski,
The Lecht are saying they might open. I guess Glenshee would be the next most likely, Carn Aosda and Butchart's do well on northerlies.
Next to no chance for the others, I think.

Right now I would put the chances of opening somewhere in this order
Lecht 85%
Glenshee 60%
Nevis Range 40%
Caingorms 30%
Glencoe 20%
Lecht doesn't need much to open and is forecast for a big dump tonight to top up the 6 inches they have at the mo. Cairngorms has plenty to open but they are just about to go into their maintenance period and it's a lot of effort to get it up and going for 1 weekend. Glenshee are always good at getting things ready at the last minute if they can possibly open. Glencoe has a good fall but it's season is much later than the other resorts and I doubt they'll be spinning this weekend. Nevis Range would be the dark horse in my opinion those pics of the goose look very good.

Definitely going to keep an eye on this, and the price of flights

It would good if the Lecht could open.
Having the first lift served skiing of the European season in Scotland, would attract some good publicity.
Two years ago England had this honour !

Bloody freezing though. Car said minus 5. Windchill must have been close to minus 20 though!

Wow! There was hardly any snow what so-ever between the gates. It was only when you got right up to the Lifts that it was bad!
Must have had a big dump!
No chance of me getting to sleep now! haha

News on Bob's Blog is that Cairngorm might open at the weekend. I thought they were in choo-choo maintenance mode but apparently that doesn't start until Monday.
btw, forecast for Saturday is currently cold, clear and sunny with light winds.

Pies and whisky are Scotch,as are eggs and mist. Other things are Scots or Scottish.
