petermillar, I think the point is that DG will demand to know the identity of one person while at the same time defending the right to anonymity of the next. The way he goes seems to depend on if he agrees with you or not. In my case, he wants my birth certificate and a sample of DNA.

I've a tendency to request the personal ID of a poster if they launch a gratuitous personal attack on a named person.
I've a tendency to defend the anonymity of a poster who wants to communicate useful/true information, or just be friendly.
