Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey guys

What's the name of the restaurant that you get to as follows.. (one snowcrazy dragged me too last year)

Come down fornelet and then when you can see the building at the bottom, get some pace on and head hard left, cross the road and then continue on for about 200 yds and as the piste opens up again the restaurant is on the right hand side.

If you know the one I'm talking about but those directions are rubbish then please correct them..got a mate in PC this week and I want' to send them there. Other recommendations gratefully received.

cheers

bb

The snow around villlage runs was a delight this pm. Stayed in the village vicinity and skied powder in trees and on pistes. Roclisse is now open although the powder under the lift kept me too busy to venture that way.

What started out as a bright day has quickly changed. Clouds have arrived and it looks pretty windy. Sitting here by our balcony the wind is blowing the snow off the roof so imagine it is quite breezy at altitude. Plan to ski later so will update on piste conditions.

Wow I have beaten redrunmarcus, to the forum and snow thread this morning - he must be either still asleep or working!

Anyway I was in Les Arcs yesterday hence no post here but check out LA thread. Anyway after 2 sunshine days the snow has arrived. SF was predicting rain at village level but this is def not the case. The snowplough has been outside clearing te road since 5am (!!) and it looks like quite a few cms of snow on the ground. Plan to ski later so will update.

Piste skiing in Montalbert first thing (we were the first ones down the Fornelet this morning, only preceded by the pisteur putting up the "slow" signs) was the absolute best it gets. Freshly groomed after fresh snow. Amazing.

The rest of La Plagne was pretty awesome as well, Champagny side, the blues down to La Rossa chair were a blast. What's more blue sky, not a cloud to be seen and lots of sun.
Now it's time for some beers at Happy Hour, followed by dinner with friends, isn't that right Mouth,? This is one of the best days off. Very Happy snowHead
