Sat in Zurich watching a flight to Heathrow leave with seats while we wait for the City flight. Go figure?

Flight delayed to 6pm. Without getting our hopes up there does seem to be optimism that our flight home is on its way out from city. More later.

Bode Swiller, Had the opportunity to vent at some fat cow in Zurich who refused to re open the gates when 20 people turned up late due to train issues. The plane was sat there and left late, 1/2 empty. Sadly to tired and weary to call the fat lazy rug munching ignorant cow one to her face

I can sense you're losing it. Threatening gesticulations and lots of shouty swearing will get you home quicker.
If you're on the 17:40 BA flight, the London city Airport site is showing you as expected at 21:23. Their site is still saying the runway will reopen at 18:00 but that's passed so who knows?
No more snow predicted for this evening, hardly any wind, -4C - so, if they clear the runway you'll get in.

Bode Swiller, Just lost it. Captain came out and announced our delay as LCY shut and then I proceeded to bar. On way back to gate 62 with pint in hand I noticed at gate 56 (Gary Liniker was there) a BA flight to LCY boarding. I did rant at check in people as to why one BA plane was boarding and ours wasn't. One check in girl ran. I proceeded to tell other passengers at gate 62 who then bombarded 56. Its all a bit nuts. Now got a pint. All is better.

If anyone is interested I can confirm you can your boots in your hands and carry them for 50+ hours on planes, trains and automobiles in Geneva and Zurich. I am not wearing a helmet
