Poster: A snowHead

We had a lift problem today, so couldn't get up the mountain. Hopefully this has been fixed by now. It's been raining lightly for about 3 hours, and is a little colder (although still very mild for the time of year), so hopefully it's snowing up top. No wind at all here - but that doesn't mean much.

Looks like that for a week at least. It should warm up for them slightly as the weekend progresses.

Well I didn't ski at all today, but apparently I missed the best day of all. Hardly any peeps (frightened off by the lift problems yesterday and the cold weather I guess), seemingly the ice wasn't as icy as previous days, and those that went up had a really good time. Blue skies natch!
The lift carry-on was a bit of a pain yesterday though as the top part of the Jandri Express had broken again. We went up and down on the 8 man chair (down was a bit scary), which meant slightly longer queues, but actually nothing like last Weds. Unfortunately they then had a minor breakdown on the first part of the Jandri Express, so we ended up waiting at 2,600m for about an hour to get on either the JE (working again) or the cable car to the Cretes. From the Cretes we came down on the white eggs with fab views of LDA at night. Bit dark etc. but very pretty. All was well in the end as they worked all night and got both legs of the JE working for this morning. No-one got lost up the mountain, so although a pain there was no drama.
