Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

thefatcontroller, bertie bassett,
Its nice to see in the pics that they have done a bit of bulldozing and clearing, me and son skied it last season after a good snowfall, when there was no run there, I caught a branch under the snow and had a pretty epic fall, landed backwards on the little path after a complete 180 invert OUCH

Hi all, have added loads of 'Web site Links' over on the Les Arcs Ski and Snowboard Info facebook page so that you can easily find all the up-to-date stuff you need to know about next season in Les Arcs. If you are 18 - 28 years old, check out the lift pass deals, seem very good value with somewhere to stay thrown in for free if I understood correctly, but check it out for yourself.

Just click on link below and go to the 'Links section'. Hope they help.

Thanks for the new pics that have been posted there and great link above from thefatcontroller, for the new lift. Will add it to the facebook page.

There must be a market as all the apartments they are building at the moment in 2000 are sold bar 2 I think?

Can anyone tell me if there is a "free" cash machine in Arc 2000?

Thanks

Just spotted this video with Les Arc being featured quite a bit, the backing track has a few rude words so if easily offended turn the vol down.

When can we start expecting snow in Les Arcs, I mean half decent snow at a reasonable height? Very Happy

Hi Tomo54, I believe the first reasonable fall in Les Arcs is due on the evening of December 12th.
It may well be that a couple of snowHeads will be about to dispute that though.....

livetoski, LloydShort, Tomo54, did you check the date on the pictures? I could only see ones for May 17th - the one real time one just showed it raining around one of the villages.

Samerberg Sue, The one livetoski linked to is live. There are 3 web cams you can access in the top right of the link for Les Arcs, 'Arcabulle', 'Arpette' and 'Grizzly'. The linked 'Arcabulle' view is live and it is at 2,600m in Les Arc and shows it sowed quite heavily to that level in the Alps today Cool

Hi everyone, not much time to post right now. Just had an email from the village. More fresh snow in Les Arcs and cold, but blue sky right now. Wish I was there. Thanks for the info. Just looked on the web cam (I know, very sad)

Looking forward to getting back. But at least I will start the winter with a suntan again. Is it raining in the UK! Sorry hahaha!! Toofy Grin

jasongibson100, great pic. When are you coming to Les Arcs?

tillywhim, I should be there for the start of the season as well so hope to hook up with you guys for a beer at least. Send me a PM if you like.

Tomo54, when do you get to Les Arcs, are you working the season? PM me if you like, I arrive for start of season in December all being well.

allanm, livetoski, sorry guys, they work to contracts so unless the CDA extend them which has never happened before, the lifts open 11th Dec no matter how much snow we get. They like everyone to go to Tignes
and Val d'Isere first as they own that a well.

Keep the undates coming everyone. thefatcontroller, how on earth did they get permission to build yet another block. I have a good idea rolling eyes Wish I had his job. Know who I mean Puzzled

I'm not going untill 26th December and have already developed an obsession with checking the webcams. Might be after choosing Bulgaria to ski last year in Jan with very poor snow. Doesn't look like it's going to be an issue this year Very Happy

Seems like the snow comes and the snow goes from the web cams. Yes I am addicted to checking them as well now that I am not there at the weekends. If anyone pops over for a quick visit, please post an update. It seems that the new lift work for this season is still going ahead despite the weather right now. I just hope they have it all ready for the start of the season or the kids will not be happy. Can you imagine the complaining if the snowpark lift is not finished on time.

If anyone wants to see some cool videos or pics of Les Arcs plus links to all you need for planning your holiday in Les Arcs including lift pass office, and tourist office booking page, go to my facebook info group. Link below and take a look. You do not need to be a member of facebook to use this group, it is just there to help everyone and save me posting the links over again. Enjoy.
