@rob@rar, the default upload size is 400px wide because it suits the forum/blog format. U can, via the '+' elect to upload a larger image. I think the max is currently 800 or 860px something like that.
I like your idea of extra resources for mega-snowHeads though.

@Oleski, you can get around that by embedding the image url inside a Source tag.

How does the size option work with the Blue Button? For the last two photos I entered 800 in the size box, but it didn't seem to make a difference (both these images are 400 wide). I'd prefer the default size to be a bit bigger (800 perhaps), with an option to go a bit smaller or a bit larger.

It's the format of the photos. First one was in portrait format, second one in landscape format. I posted them using the Blue Button in the exact same way.

@boredsurfin, I quite like the idea of my contribution being rewarded in a few ways, though I would still contribute to the site even if there were no rewards. It is a tremendous source of information, of travel opportunities and of wonderful friendships. What's not to like and to pay a bit for? Perhaps if you came on Bashes you might feel the same way. Or there again, maybe you wouldn't.

@holidayloverxx, I think Rob means that that was the way they were stored in his own database. So it comes out automatically correct when you press the blue button.

@boredsurfin, I don’t see it as monetising the ability to post photos, it’s rewarding those that were already donating....admittedly that’s just semantics though.

It'd be nice if there were a more responsive / small viewport friendly view (plugin, perhaps?). For those that would use it, they could enable it - and those that are happy with the way it renders on their phones currently, leave it as it is.
I'm always zooming in and out to read replies etc (admittedly, I read a lot more than I post ).
