Courcheval 1650 must have moved since I skied down there in January. It was definitely right on one corner of the 3 Valleys then;-)
Joking aside though , it's a great resort.

Hey pal, when would you be flying back to London?
I may be interested on jumping in, since i am already looking for a week escapade (check out my today's post ).
The thing is that i have to depart Sunday afternoon (have a bday party on Sat night) or Monday.
May not suit your schedule, but just in case.

Hi Arbor
I have now booked into 1850 (24th - 31st March) as there are no Gatwick flights left for 1650 which where I really wanted to stay.
If you can find a flight I am sure we could do soemthing about sharing the twin room I have just got but I think you will struggle to find a reasonbly priced flight.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

It may still work, but just wondering, how do you fly to 1850?
I mean, i've found flights to Geneve or Grenoble, but not sure how to reach up there. I've seen several transfer services, but all turn to be extremely expensive for just one single person...

Yeah I think its a 2.5 hour transfer from Geneva Airport which is where I am flying into so it would be expensive for a single person. My transer is included in the price of the holiday so I did not need to think about it.
I can only suggest you look through the forum and see if there is any advice on the travel. Some resorts can be reached by train and bus, don't know about 1850

You know it makes sense.

Tricky indeed.
The prices i am finding to crash in the Alps next week, are almost equal to the total amount of coin i've paid for almost three months in Andorra, for a 2 bedrooms apartment, just for myself, right in front of the slopes (plus Season Pass). Wow.
I think i'll just end up going downhill from the top to the bottom of a pint in London. Several runs though.
