Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Review Rossignol Super 7 2013

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi,

not sure if this post belongs here, but i wanted to write some feedback on the skis.

I have a pair of Rossignol Super 7, 2013, 188 cm with Look Pivot 14 XXL bindings on. I skied with them 4 days in Sölden, Austria and a week in Whistler. Overall i found them amasingly easy to handle. I didn't find much powder this winter so i skied mostly on pists or off-piste crud.

I have another pair of all-mountain skis and i hardly felt any difference on groomers- super easy to turn also in small turns. If your really get some speed then you feel them a bit fluttering underneath, but the surface you actually ski on is much shorter than the overall length due to the rocker shape, so thats fine. On moguls the skis are great as well - enough flexible to give you the bouncing between the bumps and super easy to control between the turns. And the few chances i had to ski powder you really come to appreciate the qualities of the skis - super floating, great stability also with higher speed and the turns felt really easy.

Overall a great pair of skis for all snow conditions, but of course the biggest fun with them is in the powder.
