Poster: A snowHead
|
This thread has got a few of us wondering if we could source some old equipment to send out to Pakistan. Ham is in the right area for trying to set up a delivery. Anyone with dryslope connections that are thinking of replacing kit, snowdomes, or ski hire shops.
Please post in the other thread so we can coordinate things from there.

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

A search of the old threads might be enlightening, IIRC there have been 2 or 3 occasions where folks have posted with bulk quantities of gear available to a good cause, if you can find those maybe they will have some other kit soon.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hells Bells, I've changed the thread title of that original thread to something a bit more relevant to how the discussion has turned out.

kevinrhead, as Marc says work out gear would be a luxury compared to what they use now.

Nothing from the the French alps I'm ashamed to say, every last centime is bled out of the hire skis - at the end of their hire life they are either sold cheap at the ski markets, sold to a Polish guy en masse for about 20€ a pair, or stripped for usable parts and binned.
