Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I've got one of those, and while I've not used the airbag in anger, I have deployed it and repacked it and found it very easy to use.

It's a well-specced and comfortable bag, with neat pockets for probe, shovel handle and blade.

One neat touch I noticed is that the diagonal ski-carry loop straps actually run through the sack to the attach directly to the shoulder strap. This means when you're hiking with skis attached, they don't swing about as much as they pass through the bag to your shoulder rather than relying on the bag, and it's contents, for stability.

I got mine on SportPursuit just under a year ago at a similar price, and it was well worth it. I commend it to the house!
