Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Transfer - Morillon to Morzine

Hi does anyone know if there is an easy way to get from Morillon to Morzine or the cost of a taxi if that's the only option?

P10DW, how much stuff will you have with you? If not much and you're on your own then you could seriously consider hitching. You'll be able to pick up a lift to Taninges easily enough and then one over to Morzine. Hitching seems to be a reasonable mode of travel - even with skis. We hitch and make a point of picking up hitchers as or karma repayment. The weekend before last we picked someone up in Taninges and dropped them in St Jean d'Aulps.

Alternatively, you'll probably be able to get a transfer company to pick you up "on the way through" if you get a cab to Taninges. There's a handy bar/tabac in the centre (by the bridge) that would good be a good place to be picked up.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

BTW - if you post when you want to go then there's an outside chance that a friendly local snowHead might be passing. You never know.

There are buses that run between Cluses Taninges, Verchaix then Morillon Village (telecabine) and then continuing to Samoens.

Then the Cluses Morzine bus stops in Taninges too.

SAT run these http://www.sat-autocars.com/img/ligne/94.pdf and http://www.sat-autocars.com/img/ligne/912.pdf

XPeak, Thanks for that. It seems though that the Morillon buses are only in the morning, now how to get to Taninges in the afternoon?

I'm sure if you/your son speaks to the guys at go massif they'll get him to Taninges and if he speak to Morz/Cham express they'll get him from Taninges to Morzine.
