Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Skiing in March and staying at Hotel Sonne. Able to ski back to hotel - trying to figure out if Blue 34a is the run to use?

34a is only a small ski trail rather than a wide piste. It is not often used as it ends by the road between Saalbach and Hinterglemm, so you need a bus to get back to either village. As you are staying in the Sonne, you could use it - you will have a 200m walk to the hotel - but there is a very high risk that it won't be open in March as it is very low and directly in the sun. The easier/better option is to either take the free ski bus at the end of the day, which stops outside of the Sonne, or even better, the Sonne run their own fleet of guest minibusses

Thanks Quinton. Suspect we will probably never be near this run at the end of the day as hopefully we will be enjoying some Après Ski. Good to know though just in case - was aware Sonne had the transport but much better if could ski back. Usual pre holiday prayers being offered up - want it to snow heavily for 4 weeks .....then turn to sunny days and blueskies (hence the tag). Very selfish - but here's hoping 34a might be open for business

Ps Thanks for Hotel link. Looked at hotel site when booked but had not seen this page with the times etc. Had just been about to mail them!
