johnboy, I didnt think sunshine had any snowmaking capacity. It looks to me like light flurries in the flood lights. I don't remember seeing stand pipes or snow canons at Sunshine last year.

johnboy, Had look just now and the Standish web cam does show what appears to be snow canons working. They may be floodlights and it does look like it is snowing a bit on the other web cam. I can find any info on Sunshine having snowmaking facilities anywhere

Looked again in day light where the canons appeared to be no definition but 2 dark lumps that come be canons. I have to agree Sunshine is telling porkies until prov-en otherwise

I've skied Sunshine quite a few times and never seen any evidence of snow cannons. They have always maintained they have no snow making equipment due to the large amounts of 'natural' snow they get.

I don'y recall seeing any cannons when I was there in March. Loads of great snow though.
