Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Solo male looking for powder hounds to ski with w/c 17/2 or 24/2

I am a 33 year old male skier, kiwi living in the UK, looking to join or plan a trip anywhere with advanced back country skiers. I'm not fussed what resort I go to providing there is steep terrain with good access. I know the sweet spots around Chamonix, Tignes, Verbier, Zermatt and Alagna but keen to try somewhere different if possible. I have a touring setup with all the avy gear and plenty of experience. Let me know if this is up your street or have a trip already planned that needs an extra body.

I am trying to get out to Val d'isere for the week commencing the 24th of February. I had a great week of powder there before Christmas. I'll send you an PM about a deal I've seen.

I don't skin but I ski off piste with others I know in the resort and between the pistes with the Ski Club of GB Leaders.
