Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Battered but unbowed...

Any future World Cup racers among this group? Last photo before leaving the Tignes glacier today, battered but unbowed, plenty of cuts and bruises, a broken thumb, but only one GB Children's Team racer absent after a nasty fall and concussion early in the week. A really intensive training week - article to come soon...

Head coach Ross Green second from left, Trainer Justin six from left, the rest are from the team (dob 1993 - 1991)

Final run of the day, the glacier virtually to ourselves...

Some terrific photos, especially in the slalom gates. The kids look very determined. They were lucky with the weather - the last couple of days looks fabulous up on the Grand Motte.

I think there's some real talent coming through in British skiing at the moment - she's not in these photos (as she's a Junior in her first FIS year at the moment) but keep an eye on Sega Fairweather's results in FIS races this year. Shame she's too young and not quite up to the strict GB selection standards for Olympic qualification, but at just 15 years old since August 5th she was picking up just over 90 FIS points in GS and slalom down under, a few days after her birthday.

The kids in action this week in Tignes are really excellent technically as well - it's good when there's lots of competition in an evenly matched group, something British kids aren't always exposed to, depending on the talent in a particular age group.
